Last New Zealand post

This very last New Zealand post is completely dedicated to all of our international friends we met during our 2 months here! So especially for Trish and Jeff, Mary and Tony, Steffi, Katy and Jenny, Sarah, Seb and Caroline, Chad, Rob, Charles-Eric and Justine, this post is in English!

The last 3 days we've spent here in Christchurch not doing anything special actually. The weather has been very good and almost everyday we had our coffee, cappucino our mochaccino on Cathedral Square. Every time we were there, there was this same guitar player playing. He started to recognize us and played all the songs we liked the most! Our favorite at the moment is 'Wish you well' by Bernard Fanning, if you don't know the song, check it out! We also had a litte walk in the Botanic Gardens were we helped out the gardeners.

We still haven't been able to sell our car yet, but we made a poster and put it in all the hostels here in Chch: As usual, dinner has been a highlight of the day, and for our last New Zealand dinner we made a delicious lasagna (yes, we made it ourselves!). It tasted absolutely wonderful together with a nice New Zealand red wine (or Danish lager)...

Tomorrow morning at 7 we have our flight to Cairns, were the last weather forecast predicted 32 degrees! Let's hope their forecasts are more accurate then the New Zealand ones!
